01 The story, in three paragraphs

Why everyone keeps coming back.

Nestled in the vibrant heart of Sacramento’s 24th Street corridor, Drip Espresso stands out as a beacon for coffee enthusiasts craving both innovation and community. This chic cafe and coffee shop artfully marries exotic espresso flavors with a warm, inviting atmosphere – making it much more than just a pit stop for your daily caffeine fix.

From the moment you step inside, the lively pop of color on the walls mirrors the vibrancy of the service and creative menu offerings. Drip Espresso is proudly female and Black woman-owned, infusing each cup and dish with a spirit of authenticity and care that resonates deeply with customers who value supporting local, diverse businesses.

The menu is a treasure trove of unique and adventurous flavors. Take the Golden Hour Latte, a captivating blend of hazelnut and turmeric, crowned with aromatic star anise – a drink that surprises and delights with its warm, spicy complexity. Coffee lovers and casual sippers alike rave about this blend’s sublime balance, with one regular describing it as “soooooooooooo sooooooooooo yummy!!” Another standout is the Wanda and Cosmo, a refreshing matcha strawberry creation that strikes a perfect harmony of sweet and earthy notes, though some patrons find the price a touch on the steeper side.

The food here is just as thoughtfully crafted. The Jaeda toast, topped with vibrant hummus, crisp cucumber, juicy tomato, onion, and a hint of fried garlic, bursts with fresh, savory flavor that energizes your palate. Pair it with a delicate banana bread mini loaf for a comforting, balanced treat. Or sample the simple yet nourishing salads that blend nutrition with a pop of freshness, a favorite among those mindful of wholesome options.

Beyond the menu, what truly sets Drip Espresso apart is the ambiance and the people. The owners and staff greet each guest with genuine friendliness, setting a welcoming tone that transforms a quick coffee run into a meaningful experience. The vibe is inviting yet dynamic, perfect for a casual meet-up, solo reflection, or a vibrant workspace.

Whether you’re drawn by the promise of bold, exotic espresso blends or a community-focused coffee shop with a contagious positive energy, Drip Espresso delivers on both taste and spirit. For those eager to explore Sacramento’s coffee scene with a twist, this gem on 24th Street is a must-visit destination.

I love the vibe of this coffee shop! The owners and employees are very friendly. I got the golden hour drink, The Jaeda and a banana bread mini loaf. The drink was deliciously spicy and had a unique taste I had not tried before. It was garnished with Star anise. The Jaeda was a toast with hummus, cucumber, tomato, onion and fried garlic. It was very flavorful and fresh and I would highly recommend it! I look forward to trying their avocado toast and salad. The banana bread was gluten free and vegan and made by a local company. It was very tasty too. Only complaint is that there are not a lot of tables so you may have to take it to go if the place is full.

I love a good pop of color. Walls are bright like the service and offerings. My salad was simple and nutritional, coffee was strong! I'm excited to try something new on my next visit. For folks who love supporting local this is a female owned ...black woman owned. Know your dollars are going to good hands.

10s across the board. The creativity and passion is evident and infectious. I love their rotating seasonal options, and I appreciate that after a much-deserved summer break, the girls came back with even more to give. The ladies of DRiP don’t owe us anything, yet they deliver coffee drinks with a flavorful spin. I also love their food options. The GiGi avocado toast is a good breakfast option, and the Popstar (strudel) is a sweet treat I’d love to eat weekly. This is more than a coffee shop, it is a community space which offers opportunities for small businesses to shine. I love this place! Keep supporting Black women in business and life.

We stopped by the DRIP Espresso! It’s unique and quaint! And to top it off, the drinks are the best and the GiGi sandwich is really tasty. If you haven’t stopped by yet, please, do so, because you are definitely missing some things!
